When we decided to go and walk through the countryside around Durham, I did not think of two things: first that we would have done the entire 12km walk. Second, that we would have ended up walking deep in cow’s shit.
I never found myself doing this not even in my hometown in Italy, which is full of farms, cows and crap (see this if you don’t believe me).

The connection ‘hermit crab’ and ‘cripted email’ is in the analogy between the security that the shell and claws offer to the soft and vulnerable crab and the security that cripted emails offer to their vulnerable content and to the data of their writers.
