I went to Szczecin, north of Poland, over Easter to visit my extended family. Everything went well until I adventured myself out of grandma’s home, and suddently found myself in way too arcane places:

Forest in Dabie (Szczecin, Poland)
The ancient magic forest of Dabie, a river village next to Szczecin. It is said that rare species of acquatic albino warewolf still inhabit these obscure lands.

Haunted mansion in Dabie
A haunted old German mansion just off the Dabie beach. Its ghosts are dated about 50 million years. In the past someone has reported seeing shadows of Jurassic tentacles through the windows.

Laura, the boat who tells the future to Dabie villagers.
Walking off the Dabie village, I came across an abandoned port at the mouth of the river. Here, Laura the boat who tells the future still resides.

Abandoned factory on the river in Dabie
Lastly, the most mysterious place I saw in Dabie-Szczecin, and certainly the most dangerous, was a dock surrounded by abandoned factories and poisonous pretty yellow flowers. It is said that ghosts of Soviet moschitoes still take the fishing boats hauled on the docks, and navigate the river at night, gently, under the moonlight.
